Dolphin Pose Yoga
Dolphin Pose Yoga. From Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog Pose), kneel, then bring your elbows, forearms, and hands to the floor in front of your knees, shoulder-width apart. To get a good foundation, turn your palms up then rotate them down.
A mix of the charming, modern, and tried and true.
Make sure your wrists are under your shoulders, and bring your palms together by applying a little bit of pressure from both sides.
In Sanskrit, the word 'Ardha' means half, 'Pincha' means feathers, and 'Mayura' means peacock. In many different styles of yoga, Dolphin Pose might be included in a flow, or held for several breaths in order to build strength and endurance. Align your knees with your hips, making sure that the first is below the latter while your forearms are on the mat.
